All smiles at Kay Park ‘Play Day’

22.08.2025

The highly anticipated ‘Play Day’ at Kilmarnock’s Kay Park was another fantastic day out for children and families, with around 7,000 people in attendance.

The annual event, which highlights the importance of play for children’s health, wellbeing and development, took place on Wednesday 6 August and featured a wide variety of activities for children and adults, including a climbing wall, canoeing, trampolining, arts and crafts and messy play.

147 children engaged with our EAHSCP stall through activities such as colouring in and spot the difference, with the option of entering a prize draw to win a basket full of goodies.
Aila Mcneil (pictured below with her friend Jamie Berrie) was our lucky winner, taking home a basket full of toys and games.
Many thanks to all who took part in this year’s Play Day and helped make it another fantastic family day out!
