Loneliness

Most of us thrive best with strong social connections around us.

This usually means having close friends and family members we can rely on to listen to our worries and cheer us up when we’re feeling down.

We don’t just feel better when we know someone has our back – it’s actually beneficial for our health!

Sadly, for some people, these social connections are hard to find, and loneliness can become a part of daily life.

We’ve all experienced loneliness at some point, and the reasons will be different for everyone.

So what can we do or who can we reach out to when we’re feeling lonely, and how can we help tackle loneliness in our community?
