East Ayrshire braves the cold to march against gender-based violence

Organised by the STAR Centre and our Violence Against Women Partnership, the event took place on Tuesday 26 November, with attendees gathering at Tesco Extra car park and making their way in a circuit around the town.

A regular fixture in our annual 16 Days of Action campaign, the event had a fantastic turnout and atmosphere despite the cold and it was heartening to see so many ‘reclaiming’ our streets as safe places for women and girls.
