Ayrshire Suicide Prevention Community Champions Awards

Ayrshire Suicide Prevention Community Champion Awards.
New for 2025, the Ayrshire Suicide Prevention Community Champion Awards are designed to honour the outstanding efforts of local volunteers who are making a real difference in mental health and suicide prevention across Ayrshire.
Whether you wish to nominate an individual volunteer, a local business, a member of staff or a community group, one of our five award categories will help you spread the word about the difference they make to the wellbeing of others.
- The ‘Care and Compassion’ Award: This award will be for individual volunteers or groups who have demonstrated care and compassion towards other individuals, groups or peers, treating them with exceptional dignity and respect.
- The ‘Shining Stars’ Award: Individuals, teams or volunteers who stand out through their contributions and achievements, and for going the extra mile.
- The ‘Thinking Outside The Box’ Award: This award is for individuals and teams who have done something new or different. This could be something innovative which has delivered a solution to a difficult problem, and which has had a positive impact on people’s mental wellbeing.
- The ‘Collaboration and Working Together’ Award: This award is for teams who have demonstrated exceptional teamwork and collaboration, working together across boundaries to support people in the community.
- The ‘Making a Difference with Digital’ Award: This award recognises individuals and groups who have delivered support via digital means. This includes groups or volunteers who have created a digital platform to support the mental health of their service users, such as providing mobile phones, iPads and other devices for communication.
Nominations will close on Friday 8 August 2025 with an awards ceremony scheduled for Thursday 11 September 2025.
