Monday 27 October will mark the start of Care Experienced Week 2025.

Supported by East Ayrshire Leisure Trust and Ayrshire College, our Promise Participation Team has organised a programme of activities for care experienced children and young people across East Ayrshire.

Monday 27 October

Bingo Tea at Salt and Barrel

Ayrshire College, Hill Street, Kilmarnock (KA1 3HY), 1pm – 3pm

Help us kick off Care Experienced Week in style, with food, mocktails and Bingo! Hosted by Hospitality staff and students at Ayrshire College, this event is not to be missed!

Wednesday 29 October

Kilmarnock V Aberdeen

Rugby Park, 11 Rugby Road, Kilmarnock (KA1 2DT)

Rugby Park and the Killie Community charity invite care experienced children and young people to attend the Kilmarnock V Aberdeen Men’s SPFL match on Wednesday 29 October. Attendees will also have access to Rugby Park’s community pitch before the 7:45pm kick-off.

Flash Fiction Workshop

Dick Institute, Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock (KA1 3BU), 2:30pm – 4:30pm

Join ArtClub? at Kilmarnock’s Dick Institute for a flash fiction workshop, where young people who have submitted a piece of flash fiction will have an opportunity to share their stories. This event will have a Halloween theme, meaning fancy dress is strongly encouraged!

Halloween Party
